The Bullard High School cheerleaders got a welcomed donation last week from the BHS Booster Club as they presented the cheerleaders with a ‘thumping’ sound system for pep rallies, outdoor events, and practicing. “We just want to let the cheerleaders and the community know that the Booster Club is here to support all endeavors for the athletic program, and the booster club is just not a football based organization,” said new BHS Booster Club President, Tood Thoene. The new addtion made an immediate impact at the Homecoming pep rally and is a addition long overdue in coming. “The new PA was needed so badly and we appreciate the Booster Club for helping us out,” said BHS cheer sponsor, Kelli Nichols. “I’m sure everyone at the pep rally could tell the difference. We had been using a microphone held up to the PA microphone for events and that was not always the best sound reproduction, but now we can hear what we are doing, it sounds much more clear, and we don’t have to rely on any other problems with technical problems we have had in the past.
