(Photos Courtesy of Linda Seronello) (Photos Courtesy of Linda Seronello) The science department at The Brook Hill School has a display from the personal collection of Dr. Christopher Walker a black bear skull, bobcat skull, coyote skull and several tree identification books. They are an invaluable tool to giving the dual credit environmental classes hands-on experience in comparative anatomy. The students in John Payne’s physics class at The Brook Hill School have been performing exploratory labs that include force tables and air tracks. Concepts the students learned included inertia, vectors, degrees of a circle, forces, motion, momentum, friction, vacuum, atmospheric pressure, displacement, coefficient of friction and mass. Students include JiHyun Kim, Gordon Change, Seung Ah Lee, Gibeom Park and Timmy Bennett.

The third grade students at The Brook Hill Lower School led the first student run chapel for the 2009-2010 school year Sept. 23. Their play was titled "To Be Kind or Not?" Their song, "Fruit of the Spirit", emphasized how important it is to be kind to others. Participants included, front row, Hayden Hommel, Logan Mimms, Zoe Ward, Emma Bynum, Alexandra Koenig, Amie Regester, Grace Brasher; and back row, Lawson Barker, Wesley Tolleson and Reagan Mackey.
