There will be a change in the way parents and family members pick up students at Bullard Intermediate School, according the Bullard Independent School District Superintendent Keith Bryant.

“Because of our desire to ensure student safety after school, we are altering the pick-up procedures at Bullard Intermediate School beginning Monday, Oct. 5,” he said.

Starting after school Oct. 5, all sixth-grade students who depart in a vehicle must be picked up at the front of the school. All fifth grade students who depart in a vehicle must be picked up at the southeast corner of the school along School House Road. The district will no longer allow students to be picked up on the grassy area on the west side of the Intermediate School.

“This only applies to students being picked up after school,” Bryant said.
