Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Lewis, age 72, of Bullard, were scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville, with the Rev. Tom Pesnell officiating.

Burial followed at Bullard Cemetery.

Mr. Lewis passed away Monday, September 21, 2009, in Tyler.

He was born February 27, 1937, in Smith County, Texas, to Mack Arthur Lewis and Dale Norene Spivey Lewis.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Bullard, served in the National Guard, was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner, worked for G.E. for 10 years and retired from La Gloria Refinery in Tyler after 25 years service.

Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Eugene Key and brother Gene Lewis.

Survivors include wife of 53 years Jackie Lewis of Bullard; daughter De’Ann Ralson and husband the Rev. Dr. James Ralson of Greenville; brother Harold Lewis and wife Jocie of Bullard; four grandchildren Angela Padgett and husband Shane of Burleson, Phillip Ralson and fianceé Elizabeth Bah of Dallas, Lori Ralson and fiancé Wesley Wyatt of Galveston, and Tabeth Ralson of Lubbock; and two greatgrandchildren Colton and Brody Padgett of Burleson.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Ralson, Wesley Wyatt, Shane Padgett, Chris Lewis, Steve Lewis, Jose Avilez, J. B. Ralson and Billy James Newburn.

The family receiveed friends from 6:30 – 8:30 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
