Partin, Taylor wed in Jacksonville

MR. & MRS. JAKE LOGAN TAYLOR MR. & MRS. JAKE LOGAN TAYLOR Kelly Anise Partin of Troup and Jake Logan Taylor of Jacksonville were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9. 2009, at Central Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Darin Partin of Troup and Cindy Partin of Dallas; and the granddaughter of Elray and Clydene Partin of Troup and of Cleo and Molly Nichols of Jena, La., and the late Ann Nichols.

The groom is the son of Thomas and Susan Taylor of Jacksonville; and the grandson of the late Jim and Jane Taylor, formerly of Junction, and the late John B. and Elsie Catlett, formerly of Hawkins.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Darin Partin; Central Baptist Youth Minister Stephen James officiated.

The Maid of Honor was Kristin Partin of Troup, and the Bridesmaids included Rachel Singletary and Chelsea Isaacs, both of Troup.

The Best Man was Corbin S eliga of San Marcos, Texas, and the Groomsmen included Will Partin, brother of the bride, of Troup, and Thomas Taylor, father of the groom, of Jacksonville.

A reception followed at Central Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Jacksonville. House party members included Jessica DeMoss, sister of the groom, of Gladewater, Texas, and Beth Myers, aunt of the groom, of Hawkins.

Flowers were provided by Tigerlillies of Jacksonville.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Troup High School and plans to attend Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Bullard High School and he attended Tyler Junior College. He is a PFC in the U.S. Army.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Dallas, Texas, and reside at Fort Stewart in Hinesville, Ga.
