Fire Prevention Week scheduled
Fire Prevention Week will be Oct. 4-10.
The Bullard Volunteer Fire Department will visit all the Bullard campuses and will leave Fire Prevention material for students to participate in the Fire Safety Poster Contest that will be open to all students of Bullard Independent School District and Brook Hill School in grades Pre-K through 12.
All posters will be judged on a local level by the Bullard Volunteer Fire Department, and the top winners will move onto the Smith County contest and, ultimately, the state contest. The posters must have a valid fire safety theme and deliver a message.
This year’s theme focuses on “Burn Prevention and Awareness.” Members of the Bullard Volunteer Fire Department will pass out more information before Fire Prevention Week.
