ARP - The Bullard junior varsity won the championship of the Arp JV tournament held this past weekend at Tiger gymnasium.

The Lady Panthers took the title in dominating fashion, losing only one game in three matches.

Arp was the first victim of the day as Bullard swept the host team, 25-14, and 25-7. Second round action was another sweep for Bullard over Overton by 25-15, and 25-15 scores.

Up next in the chapionship game was Class 4A, Henderson.

After dropping the first game in a close encounter with the Lady Lions, 24-26.

The Lady Panthers came back with a flurry winning the final two games 25-20, and 25-11 to capture the first place trophy.

“The girl’s played really well, and they are communicating on the floor really well,” said coach Nanci Dixon.
