The Bullard Baseball Association is playing host to the 12U district softball tournament this week at the BBA ball fields. The tourney started on Monday with games going on until the Friday night championship game. All games, start at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. each night.

The Bullard Heat is the only Bullard team competing against the Whitehouse Heartbreakers, Whitehouse Stars, Troup Titans, and two teams from Rusk. Also competing for the first time will be teams from Grapeland, Elkhart, Fairfield, and Teague.

The Heartbreakers were the 10U state champions last year, and the Heat took third at the state tournament.
