Former Panther all star, Ellis returns to Bullard to share the love as one of new Panther coaches
      When Cody Ellis was growing up in Bullard playing ball, he had a love for athletics and can remember thinking during brief breaks during games or in-between innings about maybe returning to coach at Bullard High School one day.

All-American Cheerleader
      Bullard's high school varsity cheerleader, Kailee Morris recently was selected as UCA All-American Cheerleader during their school squads cheer camp at Texas A&M in College Station during the week of June 22. Each candidate performs an Xtreme dance routine, a camp cheer, and a jump to acquire their scores for such honors.

Bullard baseball gets snub by UIL and TMT
      After a runner-up season to the Spring Hill Panthers, the post season honors continue to be a disappointment to the Bullard faithful. Nick Rumbelow was the only Panther selected to the top two teams from Bullard, for All East Texas and that was a second team pick on the infield.

Kipps claim All ET honors; Mullicane gets mention BH
      The Tyler Morning Telegraph All East Texas Softball teams were recently announced and just as the all-dsitrict voting went, there was a shortage of Lady Panthers from Bullard on the list of notables. Erin Kipp and Alayna Kipp more than deserved their first team nominations.

12U district softball tourney this week at BBA fields
      The Bullard Baseball Association is playing host to the 12U district softball tournament this week at the BBA ball fields. The tourney started on Monday with games going on until the Friday night championship game. All games, start at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. each night.

Texas Prospects showcasing Bullard and ET talent
Rumbelow throws perfect at Perfect Game Showcase at Twins MetroDome
      Bullard's Nick Rumbelow has been making a lot of noise this summer as a member of the Texas Prospects- Black team. Playing any infield position is a plus, but his pitching is what has turned the heads of several big Division I programs as well as some Major League Baseball advisors.

Prospects program; showcase Rumbelow and Rose with big test to play the best
      The inaugural Texas Prospects July 4th Showcase ended up coming down to the two locally-based team of high school all-stars to battle for the top spot. So despite the verdict, the Prospect were going to win. The final game was halted after one-inning with lightning threats all around Herrington Field on the University of Texas at Tyler campus.

EBCC Junior Golf Camp slated for July
      Mark Kote, the Eagle's Bluff Pro of the Year, will be holding a Junior Golf Camp at Eagle's Bluff Country Club, from July 14-17; July 21-24; July 28-31, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day. The cost for the camp if you are an EBCC member is $85, and $105 for guests of EBCC Members.

Bullard Player of the Week
JACKSON SMITH Bullard Hammers C/INF/OF
      Smith has primarily played catcher for the Hammers this season, but can play virtually anywhere his coaches put him. Smith was a Hammer representative at the BBA All-Star Play Day in the 8U division. Smith is also a Pop Warner football player, and a hoopster as well on the hardwood.
