The All Saints Trojans recently capped off a dream season, winning the school's first ever baseball state championship.

Readers saw the district domination in last weeks all-district team by the Trojans, and runner up, Brook Hill Guard.

All Saints placed two players on the first team in Dillon Buhrkuhl and Bobby Sterken.

The Trojans put Zack Slaughter on the second team along with Brook Hill freshman, J.B. Moss joined the second team squad.

Bailey all state: Junior Tanner Bailey earned honorable mention all-state honors this past season for his steady work at first base when not pitching for district runnerup, Brook Hill. Chris Nyberg was named honorable mention for the state champion, All Saints.

All Saints won the Class 3A championship and dominated league play, going undefeated while The Guard finished at 7-3 in league play.

The Guard bowed out in the first round of the TAPPS baseball playoffs with a onegame series loss to Flower Mound- Coram Deo.
