The second annual Lake Palestine Palooza will be held at the Marina in the Villages Resort on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 23rd from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm. The Villages Marina is located off of Hwy 2661 west of Hwy 155. Admission is FREE!

Live Music straight out of Austin will bring the Lake to Life! Defining the next generation of Texas music, Jonathan Terrell will bring his original Texas sound to the Piney Woods from 5:15 - 7:00 pm. Jonathan's Americana appeal is best summed up as "Country & Western for people who wear Skate Shoes". Also bringing Austin's 6th street to East Texas, Uncle Lucius has that soulful Southern Rock sound that makes any Texas Lake Party complete. Uncle Lucius will be playing from 3:15 - 5:00 pm. Opening the day of Music from 1:00 - 3:00 pm will be East Texas' own rising star, Truffula Tree. Radio Stations 96X, 93.1 The Mix and 101.5 KNUE will be broadcasting live from the event.T

his outdoor event is a good time for all ages! For the kids, there will be a play area with games, including the nationally organized B.A.S.S. Casting Kids competition, hosted by The East Texas Bass Association. Be sure and plan on having lunch or dinner grilled right out of the back of the Engine 7 Fire Truck. The food is unbelievable!
