Seated: Breanna Hinton and Cassie Crawford. Standing: Haley Bauman, Judson Watkins, and Amanda Abernathy. Five Bullard High School students earned medals at the academic UIL Region III meet in Brenham April 25. Two of those students qualified for the state competition to be held in Austin May 25.

Senior Judson Watkins placed third in current events and will compete at the state meet. Junior Breanna Hinton qualified to be an alternate for the state ready writing competition with her fourth place finish at regionals.
