Lady Guard wins big over Garland Christian

GARLAND - Brook Hill pitcher, Sarah Mullicane spearheaded the attack as the Lady Guard remains unbeaten in district play with a 12-0, win over Garland Christian this past Tuesday night .

Mullicane had six strikeouts and only surrendered three hits in the game on the mound.

At the plate, Mullicane was a perfect 4-for-4, with three runs scored and one RBI.

Lady Guard, Carley Howard had another great outing with a 3-for-3 showing at the plate with one run scored, while teammate Kelsey Norton went 2-for- 4, and scoring twice.

The losing pitcher, Breanna Smith struck out four Lady Guard batters in taking the loss, and joined Erica Nations and Suzanne Harrison with the only hits in the game for the Lady Swords.

Brook Hill (10-4; 6-0), will finish out the regular season with road trips to district foes Dallas Lutheran on Thursday, and you can see the results n this edition.

The Lady Guard will then close out the league slate against All Saints on Tuesday, April 14, at 4:30 p.m.
