BULLARD - Collin Hanks nailed three, 3-pointers and led The Guard with 13 points as the eighth-ranked Brook Hill Guard handed the No. 18, TAPPS school, Garland Christian a 55-32 loss at Herrington gym on Thursday night. Brook Hill won every quarter, putting up double-digits, while the Swordsmen could only muster 15 points in the third period to reach double digits scoring in a period. Hanks got plenty of support as Courtney Thomas and Jeremey Chappelle controlled the inside with double doubles. Thomas scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Chappelle added 10 points and 13 boards. The junior varsity won their matchup with the Swordsmen as well, 46-28, behind 15 points from Tallen Harris.
