BULLARD - It took an extra period to decide the winner this past Thursday night as Garland Christian outscored the Lady Guard, 10-2 in the overtime period for a 69-61 win for the Lady Swords.

Post player, Dara Udon led Brook Hill in scoring with 19 points, and Erica Eden was right behind with 18 points in the losing effort.

Brook Hill fought back from a 15-3, deficit after one quarter and went into the intermission break trailing 33-24.

A big third period for Brook Hill trimmed the Garland lead to 46-44, before the Lady Guard forced the overtime period.

The Lady Guard drops to 1-2 in district play and will entertain The Shelton School of Dallas on Saturday.
