Guard soccer ties Canyon Creek
BULLARD - The Brook Hill Guard soccer team got closer, but is still looking for their first district win as Richardson-Canyon Creek Christian Academy and Brook Hill fought it out to a 2- 2, tie this past Thursday night at Herrington Field.
After a scoreless first half, Canyon Creek score two goals within the first five minutes of the second half to take a 2-0 lead.
However, The Guard began to chip away as sophomore, Gordon Chang scored unassisted to make it 2- 1.
The Guard tied the game up as junior, Joshua White took and assisted from Corey Scheel to bring about the 2-2 deadlock.
Brook Hill stands at 2-3-1 on the year and 0-1-1 in TAPSS league play.
