There is an AARP Driver Safety Course scheduled for 1-5 PM on Jan. 5-6 and again on Jan. 12-13, 1-5 PM., in Tyler. This refresher course is designed for people 50 and older, but ant age, with a driver's license, may attend. Membership in AARP is not required. Those who complete the course may be eligible for a discount on their automobile insurance. The instructors for these courses are AARP trained volunteers.
