Achievers

The Brook Hill Lower School held its third annual Science Fair. All third, fourth, and fifth graders presented their projects in traditional science fair format. They were adjudicated by a panel of judges selected from the East Texas science community and awarded the ribbons: distinguished, proficient, apprentice and novice. The judges also picked one student from each grade level that met the following criteria: an articulate presentation, scientifically intriguing, and creatively designed. Not necessarily the "best overall project" but one that illustrates well the goals and purposes of the Science Fair. These students presented their projects orally at the awards ceremony on May 6. Third grade - Chad Niles- "Fingerprint Collection," Fourth grade - Lauren Ellison-"Atherosclerosis Cholesterol," Fifth grade - Daniel Priddy-"What is the Quickest Way to Cool a Can of Lemonade?"
