Lady Panthers finish District 14-3A softball undefeated

The Bullard Lady Panthers finished off the district 14-3A season with a 8-0 win over the Brownsboro Lady Bearettes.

The win gives the Lady Panthers a perfect 10-0 mark in district play and a 24-3-1 overall record on the season.

The offenive leaders for the team were Valarie Roberts who hit 2 homeruns in the game and went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's.

Mandy Gillard was also 3 for 4 with a double; Erin Kipp went 2 for 3 and Allison Burton, Kelsey Robertson, and Whitney Worthen all went 2 for 4 on the night.

Erin Kipp wrapped up her 10th win in district play and her 22 win on the season.

She finished with 16 strikeouts, no walks, and just 1 hit.

The Lady Panthers will play at home in a warm-up game Friday night at 7:30 against the 4A Hallsville Lady Bobcats.

Guard beats Greenville

Recently the Brook Hill Lady Guard defeated Greenville Christian 18-1.

Winning pitcher is Sarah Mullicane with 4 strikeouts.

Leading hitters were M.C. Selden 3-4 with a home run; Kelsey Norton, 3 for 4; Shelby Rozell, 2 for 3 including a home run; Jessica Johnson, 3 for 3 with a home run; Sarah Mullicane, 2 for 3, Carley Howardm 2 for 3 and Jenny Anderson 2 for 3.
