BHS seniors visit Bush Library at A&M campus
Staff Reports
Bullard High School seniors toured the George Bush Library on the campus of Texas A&M in College Station on April 2.
The interactive museum allowed students to use a flight simulator to land a plane on a WWII aircraft carrier, sit in a conference in the Situation room and use the teleprompter to deliver a speech standing behind the podium in the Press Room Theater.
The museum exhibits included a replica of the Oval Office where students sat behind the President's desk.
Also on display was a section of the Berlin Wall, gifts from Foreign Heads of State, a presidential limousine and a restored 1944 TBM Avenger just like the plane President Bush flew as a Navy Pilot.
Following the tour students attended a Texas A&M Baseball game where they saw Bullard's Brodie Greene score the winning run.
