Members of the Bullard High School Key Club attended the Texas-Oklahoma District Convention April 3-6 in Dallas, Texas.
The club received awards and recognition for the following: 2nd place in the Silver Division for their Single Service Project - King's Storehouse; 2nd place District Project Wall of Service Poster for Key Clean Up; banner patch recognition for Key Clean Up.
The award the club is most proud of, however, is the Top 25 Club recognition.
Out of the 300 clubs in the Texas-Oklahoma district, Bullard was ranked number 17.
This award is based on the number of projects, member involvement, and other requirements that the club is involved in throughout the year.
While in attendance at the convention, club members attended various forums in an effort to learn how to better run their home clubs. They were also actively involved in helping elect 2008-09 district officers through caucusing and delegate activities.
David Moody, a junior at Bullard High School, was inducted as Lt. Governor for Division 26.
