Panther boys remain undefeated in district

The Bullard varsity Panthers defeated Canton 6-1 Tuesday evening.
Nick Rumbelow pitched 6 innings, with 8 strikeouts to secure the win. Rumbelow is now 7-0 in 7 starts.
"The players are coming through in every facet of the game," Coach Ronnie Dent said. "As a team we are hitting .364, and our ERA is 1.00."
The Panthers had 4 hits, with the big hit coming from Ryan Clarke in the third inning, a 2 RBI triple.
The victory gave the Panthers a 5-0 record in district and 12-6 overall.
"We need to continue to work hard defensively and offensively," Dent said. "One of the goals they set at the start was to win district, they are half way there and need to focus on every game."
The team will compete against Van in Bullard at 6 p.m. Friday.
