Lady Panthers attack, shut out Lady Eagles

The Bullard Lady Panthers defeated the Canton Lady Eagles recently to open the second round of district play by a score of 1-0 in 11 innings.

Lara Buysman got the game winning hit in the bottom of the 11th to drive in Allison Burton.

Buysman, for the night, went 2 for 5 with 1 RBI, and Alayna Kipp went 2for 4 with a walk.

Erin Kipp pitched her sixth no hitter and her fourth in district in route to the win.

Erin finished the game with 26 strikeouts and 1 walk.

On the season Erin is 19-3-1 overall, and 6-0 in district play.

The Lady Panthers are now 20-3-1 overall on the season and 6-0 in district play.

Next up, the Lady Panthers will take on Van at 6 p.m. April 11 in Bullard.
