The junior varsity Panthers were defeated recently 11-0 by Kilgore.

Brandon Nobles went two for two at bat with a single and a double.

Nobles pitched an inning with four runs, two hits and five walks.

Jeremy Welmaker went one for two with a single. Welmaker threw two innings with two runs on four hits, striking two out and allowing three walks.

Scott Starwalt threw two innings with five runs on three errors, two strike outs and four walks.

Ruan Hamilton managed to steal a base for the Panthers.

The junior varsity will play in a home game against Crandall March 7 beginning at 6 p.m.

The varsity will travel to compete in the Lindale-Van tournament March 6-8.
