Thanks for the community support

Thanks to everyone for all your support. There are not words to describe how much we will miss James, but your prayers and support have meant so much to us.

Only God knows why James was taken from us at such a young age, but I have told some friends and family members that God must have needed a captain to get the band angels ready for a magnificent concert.

Again, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has helped us through this most difficult time, especially Bullard High School band director Gary Jordan and assistant band director Michael Oglesby and all members of the Bullard High School band.

With our love, Buddy and Shirley

!

You hear that sometimes it takes a near death experience to realize what you have in your life.

The people, the community and my family is so important to me.

I want to thank my family, my boys (who keep me grounded) my church family, my co-workers and the community for supporting me both emotionally and financially.

Thank you all for the prayers, well wishes, gifts and financial support.

I feel like I am going to conquer all the obstacles that God has put in my path.

I am grateful that I live in such a loving community and I owe my recovery to all of you.

I have been humbled by the outpouring of support from my loving church and the entire community.

Thank you first and foremost to the Methodist Church Mission House for all their support; especially Hazel Mason for all that she has done for me.

Thank you to Brookshire's; both Tony Johnson and Kenneth Langston for supplying the meat for my luncheon.

Thank you to Bubba's Catering; to Robert and Cyndi Reed for the food and the service

at my luncheon.

Thank you to Flowers By

Sue's for the beautiful decorations and to everyone that assisted.

I am sure there are more people behind the scenes that I am not aware of but I am very grateful to all of Bullard for what you have done for me.

I do not know when I will be taking the next step in my healing process but I will keep you all informed on my progress.

I have not been placed on the transplant list at this time.

There are other illnesses that they have found and once those are corrected then my body will be able to handle a transplant.

Then the waiting for a liver will begin.

Please keep me in your prayers that a liver becomes available soon.

Thank you and God

bless you all, Sherrie Russom
