Panther streak continues The Bullard Panthers continued their winning streak Friday night at UT Tyler with a 60-47 victory over the Sabine Cardinals. The Class 3A Region II Area playoff game was underway as the Panthers took control of the tip. The boys were determined to prove that no matter their age they were in it to win. "I thought our guys came out focused and determined," Coach Ryan Tomlin said. "We were as good defensively the first half as we have been all year." Throughout the first half, shots the Cardinals put up were slammed out of the air by the Panthers; steals were made and the boys played a greater part of the game from behind the 3- point line. The Panthers held the Cardinals to making just 9 points in each of the first two quarters, giving Bullard a 39-18 lead heading into halftime. When the second half began Bullard's lead started to slip. Fouls were made against the Panthers and free throws didn't seem to come as easily as the three pointers. The Panthers were led in scoring by Camp with 15 points including three 3-pointers; Lance Anding, 13 also with three 3-pointers; Daniel Howard, 11; Josiah Rosebury, 11with one 3-pointer and Charlie Moore with 6.
