The Brook Hill kindergarten themem for January was winter. Most of the stories were read were about "northern" winters. Teachers talked about how children have different activities in the winter where it snows. An unexpected blizzard blew into school on Friday, Feb. 1. Children arrived to find their classrooms transformed into a winter wonderland complete with a life size snow globe. There were numerous center activities for the students to explore including ice fishing, snow treasure hunts, igloo building, snowman making and much more. Left, Easton Myrick enjoys the snow globe.
