Thurman, Turner wed

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Blake Turner
Nell Elizabeth Thurman of Carthage and Douglas Blake Turner of Bullard were united in marriage on Dec. 29, 2007, at the Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville.

Judge James Morris officiated the ceremony.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Bridesmaids were April Thurman and Sarah Turner.

Groomsmen were Dillon and Stratton Turner.

Flower Girl was Quendoll Barnes and ring bearer was Joshua Barnes.

The bride is the daughter of Marty and Grace Thurman of Carthage. She is the granddaughter of Teotorico and Coronacion Gabayaran of Tapaz City of Panay Island, Philippines, and Mart Bascom and Nelwyn Parker Thurman of Carthage.

She is a graduate of Carthage High School and is attending Tyler Junior College for Pre-Physical Therapy.

The groom is the son of Jill Turner of Bullard and the late Tim Turner of Grapeland.

He is the grandson of Jackie Kirgan, of Tyler, Jack and Nan Scarbrough of Tyler, and Jerry and Betty Turner of Grapeland.

He is a graduate of Bullard High School and is employed by Crown Kia as a sales representative.

The reception was also held at the Castle with entertainment by Boogie Butt Productions.

The cake was provided by Design's by D'Anne.

After a trip to Dallas/ Fort Worth the couple will reside in Tyler.
