Carrie McGee weds Kevin R. Arneson
Brother Zach Snow officiated the ceremony. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an empire waist, a-line ivory lace, and pearl studded gown with beaded spaghetti straps, a three-foot train and an ivory pearl studded fingertip veil. Her bouquet consisted of 8 large long-stemmed calla lilies wrapped with ivory satin ribbon and studded with ivory pearls designed by Stacy Connor, owner of French Peas, in Tyler. Carrie is the daughter of Pete and Mary McGee, of Bullard and the granddaughter of Faye Davis, of Flint and Jean McGee, of Athens. She graduated with a bachelor of science in hospitality administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2002. She is currently employed as a catering sales manager at Marshall 's Catering & Special events in Dallas. Kevin is the son of Ted and Elaine Arneson and the grandson of Adaline Alspaugh, all of Blythe, Calif. He attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, for agricultural business. The maid of honor was Sabrina Dallas and bridesmaids were Amanda Cabler, Toni DiLouie, and Sarah Gandy. The best man was Ted Arneson. Groomsmen were Rick Arneson, Brad Arneson and Dane Arneson. Flower Girls were the groom's nieces, Erin and Ashley Woodford and the ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Matthew Woodford. The reception was held at the Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. The entertainment was provided by Walter Wheeler of Boogie Butt Productions. The cakes were created by Designs by D'Anne of Jacksonville.
