! Bullard Elementary PTO is holiding a "Bingo Night" fund-raiser from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 for students and their families. Cost is $1 and pizza & beverages will be available.

! Bullard High School is hosting a college financial aid workshop beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 4. The workshop is open to students, parents and guardians of students grades sixth through twelfth, as well as community members. Devon Wiggins, director of financial aid at Tyler Junior College will speak, and there will be door prizes. ! The Cherokee County Republican Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the Legacy of Harvey Collins Restaurant, 204 West 6th St., Rusk. Candidates in the upcoming election will be guest speakers. All members are encouraged and the public welcome. For more information, call 903-586-2669.

! Bullard High School host its first college fair from 10 am. to 2 p.m. Feb. 6 at the high school gym. More than 29 colleges are set to attend, as well as Stone School of Massage and branches of armed forces. Tyler Workforce and TJC's director of financial aid on hand. The fair is open to all high school students and community members. Arp, Frankston and Winona high schools will be in attendance as well.

! The Pipeline Group is holding a public awareness meeting open to landowners and farmers who are located or work near a pipeline right of way. The meeting will be held at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 7 at the Tyler Rose Garden Center, 420 S. Rose Park Dr. A free continental breakfast will be served for all the attendees. Interested persons must register for the meeting in advance by calling 800-982-8752 or online at www.pipline group.com.
