Inky, Binky, and John
Local children's book writer visits campus

Local author John McCloskey made an appearance at Bullard Intermediate school bringing with him two of him books, "Warrior Ching" and "Inky and John" as well as Inky, a Pekingnese and the inspiration of the book.

McCloskey shared the story of his relationship with Inky and how the books and columns came to be.

"It is hard to come up with another story week after week but all I have to do is spend five minutes with him," McCloskey said. "He's an inspiration."

McCloskey then took time to answer any questions the students had before letting them pet Inky and get their copies of either book autographed.
