Cherokee Civic Theatre readies for `Postmortem' RUSK -- Cherokee Civic Theatre has announced the cast of the upcoming show Postmortem, according to Daniel "Eddie" Breen the director of the show. Assisting Breen will be Producer Camille Jones, Assistant Director Cody House, and Production Assistant Trae Gunter. The show will be stage managed by T.J. Marquez. Playing the role of MacCready will be theatre veteran Dan Trent. In the role of May Dison will be Jessica Breen-Ford, who designed and constructed the set for "Seussical." Playing Leo Barrett will be Kevin Guinn, with Amy McCallister portraying Marion Barrett, Leo's wife. The eccentric William Gillette will be brought to life by Jacob Haynes. Anna Marie Nickle will be Lilly Warner, Gillette's slightly askew aunt. Long-time stage presence, PO Ford, has the role of Bobby Carlyle. Louise Paradine will be played by Anya Breen. "I had a difficult time selecting the cast for this show. Everyone who read was outstanding, and I would like to thank each and every one for coming to the auditions," stated Breen. Interested parties can help out behind the scenes as well. There will soon be construction days where any and all help is needed with building the set, costuming, painting and lighting. Cherokee Civic Theatre has a long tradition of fostering the talents of local residents and giving them a chance to shine.
