Lady Panthers fall in overtime to state ranked Lobos

BULLARD - It took an extra period to decide a winner before Longview came out with a thrilling, 63-60, overtime win over the Bullard Lady Panthers on Tuesday night at Panther gymnasium.
Bullard (8-2), led at the half, 28-24, behind 15 of Danielle Heithoff's game-high, 21 points.
Longview (13-3), turned the table in the third period, outscoring Bullard 25-9, for a 49-37, Lady Lobo lead.
Heithoff added six points in the final period and freshman, point guard, Minta Spears nailed one of her two 3-pointers to stage the Bullard comeback and force the extra quarter.
Tiana Poole scored four of her 17 points for Longview in overtime, and sealed the win with two freethrows with fiveseconds left to lead to the win for Longview and their head coach of 30-years, Tommy Aldridge. Longview 63 Bullard 60
