New Program Brings Over 1.2 Million Pounds of Food to Hungry East Texans
      Brookshire Grocery Company and Kraft Foods will announce their support of a new program of the East Texas Food Bank. The Store Donation Program sends trucks directly to area grocery stores to pick up meat, dairy products, bread and other perishables that are nearing their sell-by date.

Correction
      The Bullard Chamber of Commerce has had a record year both in membership and the money raised throughout the calendar year. According to treasurer Sherri Glover, the Chamber raised more the $50,000, compared to last years $32,000.

Austin Bank Awards Bullard Student Savings Bond
      Austin Bank has kicked off "Teach Children to Save" - an educational program dedicated to teaching East Texas elementary school students the importance of financial literacy. As part of that educational program, Austin Bank has awarded Brittany Wheeler from Bullard Primary School a $50 Savings Bond.
