Finishing with a 9-2 record (losses to Class 5A, Grace Community, and Austin-Regents), the most impressive point may be the three-year run of no district losses in TAPPS Division III play.

The Guard dominated the league superlatives with four of five special awards going to the district's best. Quarterback and safety, Tyler Baker raked in the league Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year awards. Jacob Johnson was named Defensive Player of the Year, and J.B. Moss was named the Newcomer of the Year. Third-year, head coach, Jim Klaczak was named the District Coach of the Year.

Six offensive players, and seven on defense dominated the first team nominees. Offensive lineman, Luke Baker and Kip Picarella, along with receivers, Jeremey Chappele, and Preston Swink, joined quarterback Baker, and Luke Molidor as first team members on the first team offense.

Defensively linemen, firstteamers, Jacob Johnson, Tallen Harris and Austin Pile were backed by linebackers, Ross Nichols and Chappelle.

In the secondary, Wes Woods, and Baker were named to the first unit. Second team offense honors for Brook Hill includes linemen Heath Dickey, and Justin Northcutt. Matt Ruark was named as runningback, and Bo Seamands got the nod at tight end.

On defense for the second unit, The Guard was represented by linebacker, Ross Lee, and defensive back. J.B. Moss. Honorable mention kudos were given to lineman Chris Dawson and runningback, Zack Cool. Defensively for The Guard on the honorable mention list included Timo Campbell, and Moss as the punter.
