Services for Norma Louise Garren, 84, Bullard, were held at Memorial Chapel at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Bullard, with the Rev. Sam DeVille officiating. Burial was held in Larissa Cemetery.

Mrs Garren died Nov. 22, 2008, in Alvin.

She was born March 30, 1924, in Bullard. She was a graduate of Bullard High School and a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Garren lived in Houston before moving back to Bullard in 1985. She retired as a bookkeeper after 30 years with Nabisco and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include her son, ret. Col. Patrick Garren, Huntsville; daughter, Wanda Faye Craig, Friendswood, four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
