Bullard Middle School and High School Theater department attended the WAY OFF BROADWAY Fall Performing Arts Festival, held on Saturday, November 8, at Van High School. The festival included 17 schools from the surrounding area. Bullard theater program won the Overall sweepstakes trophy with a team total of 900 points.

The students could choose from the following events: prose, dramatic interp, improvisation, original mime, poetry interp, humorous interp, vocals, lip sync, reader's theatre, audition, storytelling, techie tool test, ensemble acting, prop-costume improvisation, dance, cold audition, poster, costume, set, program, and mask designs. Student's were awarded Superior, Excellent and Good ribbons. The students who couldn't attend the tournament sent design projects.
