Three of the five brothers were honored at the Red White and Blue Festival.

One of the five brothers has received two Purple Hearts and numerous awards for military service.  As a riverboat captain, he has saved a commrads life and he has been saved.

But since volunteering to take three tours through Vietnam, he has had four hip replacements in the last 30 years and he still does not receive all of his veteran benefits.
