BULLARD - Luke Molidor was determined to make his last home game as a senior to be a special game. The transfer from T.K. Gorman held up his end and Brook Hill took the win.

Dallas Lutheran appeared to be ready to hand Brook Hill their first district loss in the three-year programs existence in district play.

The Guard, two-way star, Luke Molidor had other ideas however as The Guard came back to take a 19-13, TAPPS Division III, District 2 win on Friday night at Herrington Field.

The Lions (3-6; 3-1), jumped to a 13-0, halftime lead as the Lions offensive line controlled play early on.

Dallas Lutheran had a 165- 68 advantage in total yards at the intermission break

Even the fly on the wall got fired-up after the inspirational halftime speech from head coach Jim Klaczak. It must have worked as The Guard scored 19 unanswered points to take the win.

Guard quarterback, Tyler Baker got his team out of terrible field position with an 79- yard run down to the Lutheran 20-yardline. A penalty against Brook Hill nullified the 99-yard TD run from scrimmage for the sophomore speedy signalcaller.

Two plays later, Baker lofted an eight-yard, fade pass to a leaping Jeremey Chappelle to put The Guard on the board, trailing 13-7.

Molidor continued the turnaround for The Guard on defense as he stripped the ball and rumbled to the Lions 39- yardline.

One play later, Molidor at fullback countered off the left side and outran the Lions 61- yards for the game-tying score at 13-13 after the PAT kick was blocked.

Molidor was not done however as the senior fullback, ran the same play with 7:24 left in the game for the game-winner from 33-yards away.

Molidor finished the game with 133-yards on only seven carries.

The win clinches firstplace for The Guard, for the third straight year, and doing so without a loss in a district game in the program's history.

Tallen Harris also made seven tackles and a key fumble recovery for Brook Hill during the comeback, as The Guard improves to 7-1 on the year and 4-0, in league play.

Austin Pile led The Guard with 11 tackles and two sacks, while Chappelle added in eight tackles and a couple of pas break-ups.

Brook Hill closes out the regular season next Friday on the road against Flower Mound-Coram Deo Academy.
