The Bullard High School Panther Band Majorettes received nine First Division, Gold Medal, "Superior" ratings and eight Second Division, Silver Medal, "Excellent" ratings at the Region 21, U.I.L. Twirling Solo and Ensemble Contest on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, held on the campus of Lufkin High School.

The members of the First Division twirling ensemble were: Lindsay Brown, Kaitlin Timmins and Paula Paulson. In addition, Rachel Wood, Lindsay Brown, Kaitlin Timmins, Paulson Paulson, Heather Berryhill and Kahla Morris received First Division ratings for their solos. Jennifer Henderson, Hannah Dahms, and Amanda Berryhill received Division II ratings for their solos.

Rachel, Lindsay, Kaitlin, Paula, Heather, and Kayla will now compete at the Texas U.I.L. State Solo and Ensemble contest on Monday, June 1, 2009, to be held on the campus of Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Congratulations to these First Division, Bullard High School Panther Band Majorettes!
