TxDOT is investigating a wet spot under Main Street and replacing the road in patches.

Water is seeping under the road. There is a possibility it is from city water or sewer, but TxDot officials are not sure. TxDot is fixing the road, then they will see if it happens again.

"Something wet is undermining this particular area," TxDot spokesman Larry Krantz said. "If it happens again, there may be a chance that it will be the city's responsibility."
