FRESHMEN PANTHER FALL TO GILMER BUCKEYES

BULLARD - The Gilmer Buckeyes offense went to the air, and picked up a 34-6, win over the Bullard freshmen team this past Thursday afternoon at Panther Stadium.
Buckeye, quarterback, Jordan Traylor, threw for twoof three touchdown tosses as Gilmer took a 21-0 lead into the intermission break. The Buckeyes scored on runs of two-, and eight-yard runs in the game.
Bullard's, Aaron Rogers got the Panthers on the scoreboard with a 43-yard fumble recovery return, and a 21-6, deficit after the point-after conversion run failed to start the second half.
Bullard running back, Justin Mizzles, and quarterback, Blake Rutherford had some good runs for the offense, and Dylan Searcy, Josh Ritch and Rhett Davis made several stops for the Panthers defense.
The freshmen will travel to play at Tatum, on Thursday, with kickoff slated for 5 p.m. for the freshmen game, followed by the junior varsity.
