Lady Panther spikers with big game Friday
      The Bullard Lady Panthers will celebrate 'Fan Appreciation Week' at this week's volleyball games, highlighted by a big matchup on Friday night with front-runner, Tatum, in District 17-3A play. Gladewater and Gilmer, were the victims last week as the Lady Panthers improve their district record to 4-1, and 17-10 for the year.

Sixth-ranked Buckeyes claim 90th career win for Coach Jeff Traylor
      GILMER - The sixthranked, Gilmer Buckeyes made a statement in the district opener against Bullard, exploding for a 29-point second quarter, leading to the 48-12, win on Friday night at Buckeye Stadium. The victory was the 90th career win for Gilmer head coach, Jeff Traylor, breaking a 73-year-old record held by the late Henry McClellan.

Panthers outmatched by Gilmer Buckeyes, Bullard sub varsity look for first district win
PANTHER JUNIOR VARSITY TAKES LOSS TO BUCKEYES
      BULLARD - Gilmer held Bullard scoreless while picking up a 34-0, win over the Panthers junior varsity on Thursday night at Panther Stadium. The Buckeyes made four interceptions in the game, and scored on runs of 42-, 11-, 12- , and 37-yards for the win. The other score came on a 56-yard pass play for Gilmer to make it a 28-0, contest at the half.
