GILMER - The Bullard Middle school volleyball teams had a tough road trip on Monday afternoon as the seventh grade 'B' team was the lone Bullard team to come away with a win against the Gilmer Middle School volleyball teams.

The seventh grade 'B' won the first match of the day, 25-18, and 25-15.

From there it was an uphill battle for Bullard.

The 'A' team of seventh graders next lost in two straight, by identical 20-25, scores.

In the eighth grade games, the 'B' team lost to the Lady Buckeyes, 14-25, and 12-25. The Bullard eighth grade 'A' team took a twogame loss as well by scores of 18-25, and 23-25.

The Lady Panthers middle schoolers played Chapel Hill on Monday in another district matchup. Seventh grade games are set to start at 5 p.m. and the eighth grade to follow immediately afterward.
