Panthers take win with Moore points
      The Bullard Panthers and Athens Hornets are fairly new to playing in a game of the undefeated as will be the caseon Friday night at Panther Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Coming off a season opening win over Westwood, 38- 21,last Friday, Panthers head coach, Jim Taylor feels his squad will need to step up another notch against Athens.

      BROWNSBORO - The Brook Hill School Lady Guard volleyball team had a tough, but learning experience this past weekend, going 1-3-1 in a tournament played at various sites in the Brownsboro district.

Bullard cross country comes up short
      TYLER - This past Saturday morning, the Bullard girl's cross country team took a fifth-place spot on Saturday, in the Robert E. Lee Cross Country Classic, held on the University of Texas at Tyler campus. Running n the Girls and Boys 1A-3A classification, Bullard was among 17 teams competing.

Brook Hill Guard draws unpredictable foe after layoff
      Finally the Brook Hill Guard is getting to hit somebody besides themselves!! That had to be running through the heads of the Brook Hill coaching staff earlier this week as they took the field for practices against a unpredictable, San Augustine Wolves on Friday night at Herrington Field on the Brook Hill campus.
