Key Clubbers Rally to Service in Response to Gustav
2008-09-10 / News
Immediately following Hurricane Gustav's battering of the Gulf Coast region, Bullard High School Key Clubbers made an unscheduled trip to The King's Storehouse in Tyler.
Students realized that the storehouse, servicing over 30 East Texas counties, would have been hit especially hard with the number of evacuees being housed in the area, and they knew their services would be needed.
Fourteen students from the organization packaged thousands of pounds of pinto beans and coffee to help restock the dwindling supply of food ready for distribution by the storehouse.
