With a jump of 45' 6'' in the district track meet Moore earned second place and the right to compete at the state level.

After joining his baseball team to defeat Spring Hill in a round of play-offs, Moore made the five-hour trip to UT Austin on May 9 to compete in the state track meet.

In Austin, Moore earned 7th place with a jump of 44' 8'' -- his second best jump of the year.

Moore is the son of Scot and Anita Moore of Bullard.
