Bullard ISD will participate in the following federal programs during the 2008- 2009 school year: Title1, Part A Title II, Part A -- teacher and principal training and recruiting Title II, Part D -- enhancing education through technology Title IV -- Part A Safe and Drug Free Schools and Community Act Special Education -- IDEA B Federal Vocational All NCLB programs.

Teachers, paraprofessionals, principals, other school personnel, parents, community members and business representatives are invited to the planning informational meeting at 3:30 p.m. May 27 at the school administration building board room.

The focus of the meeting includes planning the 2008-09 program activities and input into the preparation of the application for funding.

A key focus will be the coordination and integration of these funding sources and programs into the educational system of Bullard ISD.

At this time, a parental involvement policy draft and school, parent, compact pledge will be presented for input.
