The Brook Hill Lower School Cadet Singers are made up of 3rd-5th grade select students who auditioned at the beginning of the year.

The Cadet Singers competed against nine other elementary and middle school choirs at the Seasons in the Park Music Festival on May 3 in Dallas.

They received three trophies; One for receiving the highest score for their performance - all "superiors."

This trophy was one of only four given to the 13 schools present.

They also received "Best in Class" trophy for the elementary division.

But the surprise award was given at the end of the Awards Ceremony.

The Cadet Singers were awarded the "grand champion" trophy for their competition against the elementary and middle school choirs.

This was one of four trophies given for all the categories.
