! Bullard ISD is aksing the community to join a celebration honor Superintendent Jim Wright, to be held from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, May 29. ! Mission House, a community-wide outreach ministry, is holding its second annual game day fund-raiser on June 9 at Eagle's Bluff Country Club. Events include golf, game tables, silent auction and more. The golf tournament begins with registration at 9:30 a.m., lunch at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. Games also begin at noon. Games include bridge or mah jongg. The sile auction will run all day and close during the awards. Prizes include a hole-in-one prize -- a 2008 Buick Lucerne -- from Hall Buick. ! The Bullard Rotary Club meets at Kiepersol Estates at 6:30 a.m.

! The Bullard Kiwanis Club meets at noon every Tuesday at Kiepersol Estates.

! The Bullard City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month in council chambers at city hall.

! The Bullard ISD board meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month at the school's administration building.

! The Bullard Community Library holds story hour for children every Thursday at 10 a.m.

! Mission House has its food pantry open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, and its clothes closet from 9 a.m. to noon on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The Bullard FUMC ministry is housed at 204 S. Rather St.
